About me

Since childhood, I was always drawn to mystery and the metaphysical world. Growing up in the Caribbean, it was certainly discouraged to delve into anything which was considered taboo aka Tarot cards, palmistry and things of that nature. When I was younger, I was caught up in the world of religion. I went to Catholic schools and was raised in a Catholic household. However, as I became older and really started listening to my inner voice, I found myself looking beyond religion. I realized that the rules and dogma of religion ostracized some and lead to confusion and suffering in others. Surely something was wrong with this picture. Religion, at least to me, seemed to be contributing to the divide rather than bridging the gap. I realized that by stripping away the rules and regulations of religion, I was able to focus on the source: Spirit. Once this focus shifted, I felt as if a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I didn’t have to identify as belonging to one group or institution but rather was able to recognize the interconnectedness of everyone and everything. We are one! We are all part of the same Spirit, the same Infinite Intelligence. As I read, studied and contemplated the different sources of spiritual paths, I was able to see Spirit through a different lens. The message, be it from a Buddhist or Christian perspective, is all the same: Love.

Growing up, Tarot and any type of divination art were seen as a violation of the word of God. I eventually realized that such things were simply not true. Tarot cards are not bad or evil. Simply, they are just cards. It is people who have assigned attributes of good, bad or evil. I do not practice Tarot as a means of "fortune telling". Personally, I believe that such things can be dangerous as it distracts from the present and limits personal development and responsibility. The future belongs to the Creator and anything claiming to be able to definitively predict the future is highly suspect. I use Tarot as analytic tool. Its use represents a means of understanding why and how things are what they are. By using the cards to delve into such questions, I can open a dialogue on what the Seeker can do to personally change his/her circumstances. Tarot can be a diagnostic and/or empowering tool but only the Seeker has the power to bring about change. The cards hold no power. In the same way a map has no power in getting you to your destination but can only show you how to get to where you're going, the same can be said for Tarot cards.

I have always been drawn to healing and saw Tarot as a means to such. My work is comprehensive in that I combine my healing work with elements of symbology and mystery. My goal isn’t to tell people what they want to hear but rather allow them to think for themselves…to dig deeply and clear away the junk that may be preventing them from evolving spiritually. Personally, I have had different experiences with different Tarot readers and whether the readings have either been spot on or incredibly vague, I've always left the experience feeling empowered. If the reading was "negative", I would think "Oh I'm not going to allow that to happen to me." Or if it was generally positive reading, I would think "That's great! So if I continue to act and think the way I do, good things are going to continue to happen." In the end, it all came down to me and my attitude towards the reading. Those readings were a testament to me of how I was affecting the change around me. If anything, it encouraged me to really take stock of my personal responsibility with regards to my choices. I was never quick to dismiss what cards were presented but was quite curious as to why they were drawn. What was the Universe trying to tell me? My hope is that I will be able to help you uncover what may be holding you back, keeping you stuck and what you can do to break free in order to attain peace. I chose the surname Moon for this said reason. The moon gives no light of its own. It simply reflects the light of the sun. You, Seeker, are the sun and it is my honor to be the reflection of your light.

Peace and blessings to you all.
